The School Advisory Service is one of the Parents League most popular offerings. We help families navigate the admissions process for New York City Independent Schools and Country Day and Boarding Schools. Parents League advisors provide members with a “place to start” in their search for a school, explain the relevant timelines for testing, applications and interviews and acquaint you with all our member schools.
Schedule an appointment to meet with a school advisor. A member of our advisory team will work with you to compile a balanced list of schools and help you identify the appropriate school for your child.
We help parents of children with special needs also by appointment with an advisor knowledgeable about special education and inclusion programs.
The Parents League is affiliated with approximately 300 schools. Our advisory team visits the New York City schools and is in regular contact with all member schools. Our advisors have years of experience as teachers, admission directors, financial aid officers and independent school board members.
