The
School Advisory Service is one of the Parents League's most popular offerings. We help families navigate
the admissions process for New York City Independent Schools and Country Day
and Boarding Schools. Parents League advisors provide members with a place to start in their search for a school, explain the relevant timelines for testing, applications and interviews and acquaint you with all our member schools.
We also help parents of children with
special needs. We have an advisor knowledgeable about special education and
inclusion programs.
The Parents League is affiliated with
over 300 schools. Our advisory team regularly visits all of the New York
City schools. Our advisors have years of experience as teachers, admission
directors, financial aid officers and independent school board members.
Advisory sessions are
