This presentation provides definitions, conceptualizations and ways of facilitation of social skills related to peer communication. It will discuss:
· importance of social skills related to peer interactions
· development of peer interactions and its challenges
· why social groups are important
· social groups vs. play date
· physical environment of a social group
· role of the educator or therapist
· how to locate a social group
