NYC Families and Member schools are invited to attend the Independent Day School and Boarding School Fairs sponsored by the Parents League of New York.
The Fair takes place annually in New York City and there is no charge for families to attend. Membership in the Parents League is required for school participation in the fair. The Fair provides an opportunity for families to learn about independent schools. One day is for the K-12 NYC independent schools and nearby country day schools and another day is for Boarding Schools.
Each event is divided into two parts. The first is a school fair with representatives who talk informally with students and parents about their schools. Immediately following the Fair, families are invited to attend panel discussions about the admissions process to NYC independent schools or the boarding school experience.
