The Parents League Guide to New York
The Guide to New York has evolved into a searchable, online resource available to members. The Parents League of New York began publishing a directory of programs and places of interest for New York families as early as 1921. The Guide to New York was first published as an academic calendar packed with reference information and evolved to a 250-page book, including over 1,500 program entries. Through changes in format and technology, the Guide has remained a handy and invaluable resource to families with children in New York City. It provides important safety and reference information, extensive data about after-school and weekend programs and activities for children of all ages, birthday party planning resources, and intriguing places to visit and play within New York City and just out of town.
