The Parents League currently has approximately 300 member schools, comprised of preschools, ongoing New York City independent schools, country day and boarding schools. Annual membership dues are based on the total enrollment of the school.

Listing in the Directory of Member Schools

A 20-page brochure printed annually and distributed at the Independent School Fairs and at our office, listing: enrollment information, age/grade range, tuition, name of the head of school and admissions director. A separate brochure is produced for early childhood programs organized by neighborhood.

Widely used, The Parents League School Directory includes detailed information and links about member schools for Parents League members.

Advisory Services

Our advisors provide a place for families to start in their search for the right school for their child, and help explain the admissions procedures. Advisors visit member schools to learn about each program so they can share this information with families. The Parents League is often the first call a family makes when relocating from overseas or another part of the country.

Grade Openings

The school advisory service works individually with families throughout the year to guide them to schools with possible openings.

Fall and Spring Workshops

Daytime workshops on various parenting topics are presented several times a year. Attendance by faculty and staff is welcome.  More Information >>
