When school is out for the summer, the break in routine can create additional stress, anxiety or family conflict for many parents. Juggling extra time at home with children, traveling with little ones, or experiencing increased behavioral challenges from children due to changes in routine are common. In this parenting webinar, Dr. Chelsey Rosen of Manhattan Psychology Group, PC will provide psychoeducation and evidence-based strategies to create a calmer family environment, boost parenting confidence, and manage surges of parental anxiety and stress.

- Ways to create successful family routines to maintain a calm environment
- Strategies to travel smoothly with young children
- Tips for screen time usage for children by age group
- Mindfulness techniques and stress management strategies for children, adults and families
Dr. Chelsey Rosen is a certified therapist in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and a Selective Mutism (SM) specialist. She specializes in working with children, adolescents and families who have a wide range of emotional and behavioral disorders including but not limited to: anxiety, school refusal behaviors, depression, ADHD, ODD and OCD. As a certified school psychologist working both in the schools and clinical settings, Dr. Rosen has experience working with a multi-disciplinary team and is committed to collaborating with both the families and the schools when providing therapeutic interventions.
Dr. Chelsey Rosen is a New York State licensed psychologist (#022640) and a certified NY State School Psychologist. She received her B.S in Psychology from the University of Maryland-College Park and her Doctoral and Masters degrees in School Psychology from St. John’s University.
