This workshop is designed for parents who are interested in learning more about the nuts and bolts of the middle/high school application process, specifically the tour and interview. A special note: Previous middle/high school workshop participants are encouraged to attend as this will serve as an additional resource. Participation in previous events is NOT a prerequisite for attendance.
Parents League School Advisor Evie Gurney will provide insight on the private school tour and interview process, a key component in a student's application. She'll discuss everything from the types of questions to expect and what to look for on virtual tours, including special considerations for this application season.
The goal is to give families confidence through this essential step of the application. Please come with questions!
Evie Gurney advises families applying to middle school and high school. Not only is she very knowledgeable about independent and private middle schools and high schools, but she also has a deep understanding of the public, parochial and boarding school landscape and their admissions processes.
