Gina Malin, Executive Director of Parents League of New York, will discuss the private and independent school process, and Clara Hemphill, founder and editor of InsideSchools, will discuss the public school process.

Gina Malin is the Executive Director of Parents League of New York the preeminent provider of advisory services for independent school admissions. She has visited hundreds of schools and has guided thousands of parents in their search to find the right school for their child.
Clara Hemphill is the director of education policy and editor of InsideSchools at The New School’s Center for NYC Affairs, which provides up-to-date and independent information about New York City public schools. Clara is the author of New York City’s Best Public Pre-k and Elementary Schools, and for nearly two decades, parents have looked to her to help them find a good public school for their child.
