Preschool Admissions Virtual Workshop

Join us for a virtual workshop designed for families applying to preschool in the fall of 2023 (for entrance in the fall of 2024). Wondering if this is the right time? For fall enrollment, your child generally needs to be at least 2.0 years old* by September 1, 2024. Use this age calculator to determine your child's eligibility.

*A select few NYC preschool programs begin at a younger age–as early as 1.6 years old.

This interactive virtual workshop, led by Parents League School Advisor Ann Levine, guides families through the preschool admissions process: when to start, how to develop a list of preschools to consider, the application process, what to look for, and what to expect. The emphasis is on giving parents information and dispelling misinformation. After participating in the workshop, Parents League members can contact a School Advisor with any future questions!
