Liza Oneglia

Liza Oneglia joined the Parents League Board of Directors in 2013 and served from 2013-2017, and 2018 to the present. Liza is President of the Board, and currently serves on the Finance, Governance, Nominating, Strategic Planning and Technology committees, and chairs the Executive committee. She was previously a Vice President of the Board and has served on the Search, Programming, and Marketing committees. Liza is a longtime member and volunteer. She joined the Parents League advisory team in 2011, and in that position advised families applying to independent Preschools and Kindergarten, led Preschool Workshops and was a co-creator and facilitator of the What to Do Before Two workshop. At the same time, Liza was an editor of the Parents League publication, Let’s Play.

Liza earned a B.A. in Art History from Kenyon College and an M.S. Ed in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Bank Street College of Education. Liza has held both early childhood teaching and admissions roles at the Episcopal School, Grace Church School and The Brearley School. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, Connecticut. Liza and her husband, along with their three children live in New York. Their children attend independent schools.
