Portfolio School’s “Summer Makers Program” offers a wide range of online hands-on academic and enrichment classes, which run weekly June 29 – August 14. Each class is designed with Portfolio’s progressive and innovative approach to teaching and experiential learning in mind. Children have the option of participating in either full-week programs, mini camp half-day programs, or individual two-day courses. Each day will begin with the opportunity to gather in All Camp Yoga and Mindfulness at 9:00 am. Then campers will go off to the Virtual Journey they selected. They can choose to connect before lunch with All Camp Cooking and then go offline for an hour-long break. Campers who choose the full day of classes will come together for two more courses before ending at 3:00 pm.

Encompassing the necessary academics from preschool through grade school, Eye Level supports students at their level and builds mastery in reading, writing, and math. Our experienced teachers guide students 1 on 1 through engaging online work, promoting the mastery of fundamental math and literacy topics, ranging from number recognition to arithmetic to algebra; pattern detection to reasoning to problem-solving; letter recognition to decoding to grammar skills; informational texts to reading comprehension to passage composition. You are able to sign up week to week, choosing from 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions.
