Parents League of New York has advertising opportunities in the Review our annual journal on parenting and education. The Review reaches a select audience of more than 3,000 families whose children either currently attend or will be attending independent schools in New York City, day schools in the tri-state area and boarding schools throughout the United States. 

The next issue of the Review will be published in January, 2019. The deadline for submitting ads is September 27, 2018.

Now more than ever the world needs the skills that engineers bring to the table. For starters, there is a pressing demand to address the fundamental human needs of food, shelter and care on a global scale. Prominent colleges and universities have joined industry in responding to this demand. University of Virginia Provost Tom Katsouleas shared with me that engineering, at its core, is simply about solving humanity’s problems.

Infancy through age 5 is believed to be a critical period in learning a second language. With 50 percent more brain synapses than adults, children can observe and process more at younger ages. By adolescence, the ability to learn an additional language greatly diminishes.
