Jamie Williamson

Jamie Williamson joined The Windward School in July 2019. Mr. Williamson is a passionate educational leader, proven creative problem-solver, and steadfast advocate for children with 18 years of experience supporting families and children with learning disabilities. Throughout his career, he has been a standard-bearer within schools for partnership and collaboration that seeks to empower students, families, faculty, and staff. 

Prior to his arrival at Windward, he served as the Head of School at Marburn Academy in Columbus, Ohio, and as the Principal at the Springer School and Center in Cincinnati. Mr. Williamson is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1994-1998). He also holds a Masters of Science and an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from Miami University (2000-2004). A licensed School Psychologist, Williamson spent four years prior to his tenure at Springer as the School Psychologist at Bridgetown Middle School in Cincinnati, Ohio. 

Mr. Williamson also previously served on the Board of the Southwest Ohio School Psychology Association as the President, and on the Board of the Ohio Association of Independent Schools. Mr. Williamson lives in Irvington with his wife, a former art teacher, and his two children.
