Nicole Pappas Ferrin

In 2019, Nicole Pappas Ferrin was appointed as the Director of Barrow Street Nursery School, where she has worked since 2008, first as a teacher and then as the Director of Admissions. During this time, Nicole helped grow the school and programs offered. Prior to working at Barrow Street, Nicole was a regional manager at Bloomberg LP where she developed, implemented, and managed service and training programs, supervising an international team of over 100 people.
For over 15 years, Nicole has been involved with the New York Junior League’s community programs, most recently serving on their Board of Directors. Additionally, she serves as an advisory board member for Room to Grow, a non-profit that supports parents and babies for the first three years of their life. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Independent School Admissions Association of Greater New York.

Nicole graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business from Wake Forest University and also holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education and Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education.

She lives in Greenwich Village with her husband and three daughters
