Independent and private schools are moving forward with the admissions season for 2021. Be sure to have these important application deadlines and notification dates on your calendar during the school admissions process. Many New York City private and independent schools follow these guidelines for notifying families of school acceptances and waitlists.

The following schedule applies to ISAAGNY Member Schools and other schools who follow ISAAGNY guidelines.
For applications and files completed by January 8, 2021
Early Legacy Optional Notification Dates
Please note that schools cannot require parents to opt for the Early Notification program before Monday, November 30th.
School Reports for candidates being considered for Early Notification must be completed by sending schools and submitted to receiving schools by Tuesday, December 1st.
